Technical Specifications
General Description
Almost The Same is a performance for an audience of 35 people involving video, sound, objects and live performance. There is an additional installation element for pre & post show viewing.
Running show
- The show is for a maximum audience of 35 people (less depending on venue & seating restriction)
- Stephanie Allen will organise the audience in liaison with the venue/festival
- Stephanie will give specific instructions to the audience & may require a translator to be with her
- The show runs for approx. 1hr 20mins

Black box studio theatre
- Minimum stage width: 7.5m (needs a clear, central opening of 5m)
- Minimum stage depth: (from setting line) 6m
Raked seating bank
- There is a capacity of 35 audience. They are organised on the seating bank in a triangular configuration
- 7 rows would be preferable with side aisles

- We supply 2 sets of 4 strip lights, these sit on the floor and require a dimmer channel
- We also require 1 general power outlet on stage right

- Lexicon reverb unit for use with our lapel radio mic
Mixing
- Andrew runs the sound via our mixer and CD Players
- We send stereo left and right from our mixer via XLR cable to your system
Audio Visual
Projector

- We supply a video projector and mount with necessary cabling and control – please refer to plan for position
DMX
TO BE PROVIDED BY PRESENTER
- Please supply a DMX cable from your lighting board to our projector for our DMX shutter
Operating Position
- The operating position for Audio, Lighting and Video must be within the auditorium and cannot be in a separate box
Dressing Rooms
TO BE PROVIDED BY PRESENTER
- 1 dressing room
- Shower
- Washing, drying and ironing facilities
Installation Space
- There will need to be an additional space for the installation
- This could be FOH or another room depending on venue
Crew
- We require 2 technicians for the get-in.
- We do not require crew to operate the show
Schedule
- We require the day before the performance and the day of the performance for set-up and rehearsals
Number of Shows
- We can perform 1, 2 or 3 shows a day. This will be discussed with each presenter
- The show slot will be 1hr 30mins with 1hr turn around between shows
Get-out
- This will take approximately 2 hours at the conclusion of the last performance or the morning of the following day
Parking
- We require secure parking for the van for the duration of our stay
